Meghan Markle's father arrested in Florida, accused of possession of child pornography

Thomas Markle Sr., father of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, was arrested this Friday in Florida, United States, according to police sources informed to the Fox News network. The conservative channel does not reveal more details about the arrest, although Thomas Markle Jr. was subject to an investigation by the Philippine Police after the discovery of material of sexual abuse of minors in his home in Cebu, in the center of the archipelago.

The Duchess of Sussex had assured in a letter sent to the British media The Sun that she had known about these accusations against her father since 2018, after the British Police brought them to her attention, and that was why she cut off the relationship and prevented him from contacting her children.

Sources from federal security agencies have confirmed to Fox News the raid that occurred this Friday morning, the 6th, at the Maravida nursing home to arrest Meghan Markle's father.

The raid occurred in the presence of a photojournalist from the British tabloid The Sun, who confirmed that the agents took Markle handcuffed in his wheelchair to a police station.
