C'est trois fois le budget du ministère de la Justice», a-t-il expliqué. Ces taux d'intérêt ont «non seulement un effet sur les comptes publics», mais «également sur la vie économique» puisque derrière ce sont «des taux d'intérêt qui augmentent pour les entreprises qui ont besoin d'investir, pour les particuliers qui ont besoin de crédit à la consommation ou bien de crédit immobilier», selon le ministre.

«Urgence à agir»

Un point de taux d'intérêt sur un crédit immobilier qui a besoin par exemple d'emprunter 200.000 euros, ça veut dire une mensualité qui augmente de 100 euros par mois, a-t-il donné comme exemple. «C'est la raison pour laquelle (...) il nous faut un budget qui réduise le déficit aussi pour réduire les taux d'intérêt», a indiqué David Amiel en ajoutant qu'il y avait «urgence à agir».

«Les premières heures de débat à la Commission des Finances ont conduit, en quelques heures, à dégrader le déficit de près de 4 milliards d'euros. Effectivement, il faut qu'il y ait un ressaisissement collectif», selon le ministre. Les députés ont rejeté à la quasi-unanimité vendredi en commission la partie «recettes» du budget de l'État pour 2027, mais sans conséquence immédiate puisque le texte retourne mardi dans l'hémicycle dans la version initiale du gouvernement.
