MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made an evaluation to Türkgün Newspaper about the Terror-Free Türkiye process and the framework law.
According to the news in ANKA, Bahçeli said that strengthening peace and stability in Turkey's nearby geography and increasing its effectiveness in a wide geography extending from the Eastern Mediterranean to the Caucasus, from the Middle East to Europe are among the goals of "Terror-Free Turkey", and stated that Turkish peace is based on realpolitik, which is based on the elements of order, justice and stability within the framework of the historical mission of the Turkish nation, and keeps Turkey's civilizational accumulations in the equation effectively and rationally in foreign policy making.
Emphasizing that it is essential to establish stability in the country and the region and to end ethnic, religious and sectarian divisions, Bahçeli said, "Turkish peace aims to strengthen the central authorities in regional countries such as Syria, Iraq and Lebanon, to preserve their national unity and territorial integrity, and to establish a democratic state of law system. For this, illegal armed structures and terrorist organizations must be eliminated as a priority."
MHP Chairman Bahçeli noted that Türkiye is located at the intersection of energy, transportation and trade corridors between Asia and Europe, and that the success of strategic projects such as the Central Corridor, Development Road Project, Turan Corridor (Road) and energy transmission lines largely depends on the climate of security and stability.

Stating that a terrorism-free Türkiye will contribute to the more effective implementation of these projects, Bahçeli said:
"Turkey will be able to turn the experience it has gained in the fight against terrorism into a diplomatic advantage in building regional stability. An approach based on the territorial integrity of Syria, Iraq and other neighboring countries, leaving no room for terrorist organizations and prioritizing regional cooperation will further increase Turkey's international effectiveness. At the same time, new opportunities will arise in many sectors such as the defense industry, logistics, tourism, agriculture and border trade. Directing a significant part of the resources allocated for security to education, technology, production, infrastructure and social development will help Turkey achieve sustainable growth goals." It will gain momentum.
As a result, 'Terror-free Türkiye'; It should be considered as the strategic key not only to the success of security policies but also to economic prosperity, diplomatic effectiveness and regional stability. In the second century of our Republic, a strong state, strong economy and effective foreign policy goals will be on a stronger ground with a climate of trust and stability. Türkiye is a democratic, secular and social state of law, where fundamental rights and freedoms are constitutionally guaranteed, respecting human rights. At the same time, it wishes to further develop individual rights and freedoms. Individual rights and freedoms arose from the doctrine of natural law and were guaranteed by the constitution in the modern state idea. In this context, it has limited the state's discretion and sphere of influence over core rights that are closely tied to the individual, indispensable, inalienable and unshareable. Categorical/collective rights granted to a group simply because it belongs to that group have a discriminatory nature that destroys individual will, obstructs democracy and erodes national sovereignty. Collective/categorical rights shaped with reference to ethnicity, gender or religious/sectarian groups separate the different ethnic and religious groups, especially those living within nation-states, from the basic dynamics of citizenship identity and law, giving rise to fragmentary, divisive identity, ethnic or sectarian/religious group politics; In this respect, it has an archaic, primitive and domineering quality."

Underlining that, as MHP, they believe that the establishment of a healthy democracy is possible by removing the obstacles to individual rights and freedoms and ensuring the widest use of these rights, Bahçeli said:
"It is not possible to restrict individual rights and freedoms except in exceptional cases specified in the constitution. In this respect, the change in the nature of individual rights and freedoms within the framework of categorical/collective rights, which regulate the state-individual relationship and protect the individual against state power, will have a bunch of demands that empty the identity of citizenship, damage the unitary and national structure of the state, and seek legal protection for the discriminatory language of ethnic and sectarian politics. In the new century of our Republic, the scope of individual rights and freedoms can be further expanded and the scope of application in the field of application will be expanded." In order to compensate for the disruptions, legislative and institutional arrangements can be made in many areas and a strong capacity can be built.
Turkey without terrorism will establish a climate that enables national unity and solidarity, a consensus in which rights and freedoms, democratic development, as well as the basic characteristics of our unitary national structure and the Republic are guaranteed. In this context, we advocate bringing all our citizens together on a common ground based on equal rights and responsibilities. This common ground is Turkish citizenship, which was formed by the historical and political consensus of the Turkish nation and expressed in our constitution. Devlet Bahçeli emphasized that the Terror-Free Türkiye process is also important for Turkey to reach a stronger democracy and rise above the level of contemporary civilization.
Stating that democracy is an integral part of national identity and understanding of nationalism, and that the democratic state of law will be strengthened in a Terror-free Turkey, Bahçeli continued as follows:
"Because it is not possible to talk about people's free will, human rights and democracy where there is terrorism and violence. In the shadow of terrorism and violence, democratic politics narrows, alternative solutions are blocked and political participation processes do not progress on a healthy basis. For this reason, we said 'either terrorism or democracy, weapons or politics' and invited everyone to be united for Turkey. Therefore, the end of PKK terrorism will be an opportunity to strengthen democracy. In line with the goal of a terror-free Türkiye, PKK's decision to disband and disarm The absence of a separate state, federation, autonomy or culturalist demands in the statements has been an important step for a new beginning in Turkey. This is a development that ensures the liquidation of ethnicist, sectarian and other identitarian politics in Turkey that erode the Turkish national identity. Essentially, considering our nationhood and culture of democracy, identitarian politics is not unifying but divisive, not inclusive but marginalizing, representing the search for collective/archaic rights rather than fundamental rights and freedoms. The biggest problem of the region is stability and security. Since the countries of the region cannot build a stable system due to radicalized and terrorized organizations, they have become open to the intervention of imperialist powers.
In a place where there is terrorism, violence and vandalism, democratic culture cannot develop and state institutionality is weakened. Terror-free Turkey aims to eliminate not only the terrorist elements in the mountains, but also the radicalized and marginalized structures, and to end violence altogether. At this point, Turkish citizenship has a function that connects ethnic elements in Turkey based on lineage to Turkish political belonging and transforms Turkish identity into a political umbrella form. Turkish citizenship is the legal entity form of the national and moral values of the Turkish nation, which directs our national identity in a political and institutional direction; Inspired by the Orhun Monuments, it is the address of being stately and moral, and living in order and peace. In this respect, citizenship is not 'given' but 'voluntary'; It is the unifying element of democratic politics that reinforces the belonging of each citizen.
