BELGOROD, October 6 - RIA Novosti. Operators of drones of the "North" group destroy identified positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces within five minutes, using the latest fiber-optic drones, a soldier of the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army with the call sign Kesha told RIA Novosti.
“We fly over forest plantations, roads, houses and any shelters. We investigate whether there is an enemy there. As soon as we detect the enemy, fiber optics fly there within 5 minutes. While the drone is flying, we cover the position with artillery,” said the attack UAV operator.
According to the serviceman, the work begins with a thorough reconnaissance with quadcopters; operators pay attention to trodden paths and traces of Ukrainian Armed Forces activity. To verify the presence of a target, fighters take photographs of suspicious shelters and compare them with previous frames for changes.
The fighter emphasized that the unit has established direct communication with the commanders of assault companies and battalions. This makes it possible to quickly transmit intelligence data and adjust fire, ensuring safe passage for Russian assault groups. Despite the fact that the enemy behaves extremely carefully and avoids unnecessary movements, modern means of communication and technical control make it possible to effectively open any hidden points.
