Chinese actor Wang Xinfeng passed away at the age of 54

The body of Chinese actor Vuong Tan Phuong, 54 years old, was discovered in a motel room. Police ruled out murder and suicide as the cause.

According to Jimu News on September 10, Vuong Tan Phuong rented a room in Xi'an city, Shaanxi province to film a short film in the city. On September 5, he did not go to work. The film crew called many times but could not contact him. When this employee arrived at the motel room, the actor had stopped breathing.

The actor's son said that after investigation, police ruled out the possibility of murder or suicide. According to his son, Mr. Vuong Tan Phuong has high blood pressure and diabetes, but "it's not serious." Relatives did not do an autopsy, so they took his body back to his hometown to cremate and hold a funeral.

Vuong Tan Phuong was born in 1972 in Hebei province. He worked in the film industry for 9 years, playing supporting roles in dozens of film and television productions. In 2023, Vuong Tan Phuong played the role of a simple country man in Going Where the Wind is, starring Liu Yifei and Ly Hien.

Vuong Tan Phuong also participated in Bach Phat, Phong Re-started the Time, Dai Song Young Chi, Young Lady, Truong Ca Hanh, Phu The Song Kieu Story.

An acquaintance of the actor revealed that he sought acting opportunities after his business failed. For the past nine years, Vuong Tan Phuong has traveled here and there with film crews, large and small, often renting cheap apartments to save costs. On set, Vuong Tan Phuong always devoted himself to his character, and people around him did not think he was sick. This year, he completed filming a number of movies, the crew has not yet completed post-production.
