Two cases of non-compliance with protective measures were recorded in Volta Redonda

In the first case, a woman who had a protective measure against her ex-partner activated the device after being approached by him in front of the place where the man works, in the Retiro neighborhood.

According to the Municipal Secretary of Public Order (Semop), the two had argued and attacked each other. The woman felt threatened, left the place and pressed the call for help button.

After the activation, the Integrated Public Security System teams went to the address indicated by the system. At the scene, agents checked the security images of the establishment where the man works, confirming his approach and non-compliance with the protective measure.

The suspect and the victim were taken to the Police Station Specialized in Women's Assistance (Deam) in Volta Redonda (RJ), where the case was registered. The man was arrested red-handed for failing to comply with the protective measure.

The second case occurred in the Ponte Alta neighborhood. A 72-year-old woman activated the device and informed the agents that she had a protective measure against her son's 25-year-old partner.

he also reported that he had a second court order against his own son, aged 46. According to the victim, he had been allowed to live on the upper floor of the property, as long as he did not have any type of contact with her.

According to the report, the elderly woman had been threatened by the couple. Her granddaughter would have witnessed the threats and non-compliance with the removal order.

The elderly woman and the couple were taken to Deam, in Volta Redonda (RJ), where the case was registered. The son was charged with threats and failure to comply with an urgent protective measure and remained detained at the disposal of the Court.

The 25-year-old woman was also charged with the same crimes, but gave a statement and was released. She will now respond to the case in freedom.
