Sad accident on the way to the wedding: 1 person died, 4 people were injured

The accident occurred at around 14:00 at Kurna Junction on the Burdur-Antalya highway. The car with plate number 43 AAY 003, in which Süleyman Kalem (49) lost control, first hit the barrier, then the lighting pole in the median and crossed into the opposite lane. Upon the notice of the surrounding people, the health and police team was dispatched to the scene of the accident.

During the check-up by the medical teams, it was determined that Süleyman Kalem had died, while his wife Emel Kalem and his relatives Fatma Sönmez, Rabia Künek and Zeynep Sönmez were injured. The injured were taken to Burdur State Hospital by ambulance and received treatment.

It was learned that Süleyman Kalem and the people in the vehicle attended the henna night of their relatives in Elmalı district of Antalya last night, and today they set out for the wedding in Kütahya.

Meanwhile, another driver who saw the accident at the scene lost control of his car with plate number 06 DG 588 and entered the median. No one was injured in the accident.
