Hard blow for Real Madrid before the Clásico: Courtois, out at the last minute due to flu

The first Clásico of the season comes with a Barça leader in LaLiga and a Real Madrid that has gone from less to more and aspires to surprise. The Barça team receives the white team this Sunday, at 9:00 p.m., at the Camp Nou, in a duel in which the Catalans will seek a new victory to consolidate their lead, while the Madridistas will try to close the gap on José Mourinho's return to the Barcelona fiefdom.

Hansi Flick's men have seen their initial triumphant streak of 11 consecutive victories in all competitions ruined by losing 4-2 to PSG in the Champions League. However, in the League they remain unbeatable and undefeated. For its part, Madrid arrives installed in third position, but with reinforced morale after a string of wins against Roma, Leipzig and Sevilla. All this, on the eve of the Ballon d'Or gala, which is being held this Monday and in which Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal aspire to win the prestigious award.
