[Reporter Liang Weiming/Comprehensive Report] The "Little Heroes Games" organized by the Chinese Olympic Games specifically for children will be held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center on June 13 and 14. The opening ceremony attracted more than a thousand parents and children to attend the event. Retired "Badminton Queen" Tai Tzu Ying and track and field star Chen Jie participated in the grand event and interacted cordially with the children on site to inherit the Olympic spirit.

Created by the Chinese Olympic Games and specially organized for children aged 3 to 6 years old, the "Little Heroes Games", in partnership with the Kaohsiung City Government, moved to Kaohsiung for the first time this year. In addition to adding tug-of-war for young children, the Games also planned the largest number of 13 sports experiences ever, including sailing, gymnastics, badminton, fencing, judo and other sports. Many families came to the scene together to sweat.

At the opening ceremony of the event, China Olympic Games ambassadors Tai Tzu Ying and Chen Jie, together with two Kaohsiung student athletes - Gao Shenxu of Gushan High School, the weightlifting gold medalist of this year's All-China Games, and Liu Xinyu, who is regarded as the "successor of Little Dai", served as flag bearers to symbolize encouragement and inheritance of the Olympic spirit. They led the young heroes into the venue and lit the cauldron with China Olympics Chairman Cai Jiafu, Deputy Minister of Sports Huang Qihuang and Kaohsiung City Vice Mayor Li Huairen to kick off the event.

Mr Choi thanked national athletes such as Tai Tzu Ying and Chen Jie for striving for many honors in international competitions and demonstrating the Olympic spirit of "faster, higher, further and more united". Tai Tzu Ying said that this event is very meaningful and hopes that everyone can experience and maintain sports habits from an early age. "You don't have to become a competitive athlete, but you should maintain your sports habits and maintain your enthusiasm." After the opening ceremony, there was a badminton demonstration match. Tai Tzu Ying and Liu Xinyu also went on the court to test their skills. Tai Tzu Ying, who had not swung the racket in front of the fans for a long time, won exclamations and applause from parents and children with her wonderful performance.
