Affected by the combined influence of the tropical depression and cold air, there will be a strong wind and rain weather process in Hainan Province from the 12th to the 15th.

According to monitoring statistics, due to the combined influence of tropical disturbances and cold air, from 08:00 on September 11 to 08:00 on September 12, a total of 36 towns (districts) in 6 cities and counties including Wanning and Lingshui in Hainan received more than 50 mm of rainfall, with the maximum rainfall of 184.4 mm in Liji Town, Wanning City.

According to monitoring, the center of the South China Sea Tropical Depression was on the western South China Sea about 330 kilometers south of Sanya City, Hainan Province at 8:00 on the 12th. The maximum wind force near the center was level 6 (13 meters/second). It is expected to move slowly north-west at a speed of 5 to 10 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity.

The forecast says that Hainan Island will experience heavy rainfall from the 12th to the 15th due to the combined influence of tropical low pressure and cold air in the South China Sea. Among them, from the 12th to the 14th, there were heavy to heavy rains and local heavy rains in the central and eastern parts of Hainan Island, and heavy to heavy rains in other areas. On the 15th, there were heavy to heavy rains, local heavy rains in the southeastern part of Hainan Island, and light to moderate rains in the remaining areas.

The Hainan Provincial Meteorological Department reminded that relevant departments should conduct safety inspections of small and medium-sized reservoirs, roads and bridges, and geological disaster hazard points, as well as risk prevention work for urban and rural waterlogging, farmland waterlogging, small and medium-sized river floods, flash floods, geological disasters, and mountain and water tourism.

In addition, from the 12th to the 14th, most sea areas in Hainan Province experienced gusts of magnitude 8 to 9.
