Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky indicated that Kyiv is now ready to find a compromise with Russia in at least two areas - grain and energy.

He noted that the issue of grain supplies is “painful” not only for Ukraine and Russia, but also for the whole world, specifically naming India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other Asian countries.

Zelensky also spoke about the results of the meeting in Kyiv with the special envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff and the son-in-law of the American leader Jared Kushner (they had also previously visited Moscow and met with Russian President Vladimir Putin).

He said that they expressed “several very good, worthy ideas.” “Whether they will be able to be updated and translated into reality, whether there will be a result - I don’t know. For now, we will still be working on them,” said the Ukrainian leader. He added that he would not disclose details of the new proposals until all the details were worked out.

Speaking about the visit of American negotiators to Moscow, Zelensky said that economic agreements (cooperation in the energy sector) were discussed there, but the Ukrainian leader does not know all the details of the negotiations.

Zelensky suggested that Witkoff and Kushner fly to Kyiv next time on the Ukrainian presidential plane. He stated that Ukrainian airports are technically ready to receive American delegations. For this you can use both Boryspil and Zhulyany airports. According to the Ukrainian leader, the main issue remains “Moscow’s provision of a safe air corridor.” Another option is to fly your own plane to Poland or another neighboring country, and get to Kyiv on the Ukrainian presidential flight.

Last time, Ukraine considered the option of the delegation arriving by plane to Belarusian Gomel with a subsequent trip to Kyiv, but the American security service chose the train for Witkoff and Kushner. They themselves agreed to come to Ukraine again, Zelensky claims.
