A court in Moscow arrested the head of the board of directors of Eurotrans in the case of fuel theft from the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Moscow Meshchansky Court arrested for two months the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurotrans PJSC Igor Martyshov in the case of fuel theft from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, RIA Novosti was told in court.

The official representative of the department, Irina Volk, stated on Monday that employees of the Main Directorate of Internal Security (GUSB) of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs identified facts of theft of motor fuel belonging to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region. The defendants are charged with embezzlement or embezzlement on an especially large scale (under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), none of them admits guilt.

“By the decision of the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow, a preventive measure was chosen for Martyshov in the form of detention until November 6, 2026,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

The defense asked to choose a more lenient preventive measure for him, and also offered a bail of 40 million rubles

Previously, the court arrested three of his subordinates.
