A high alert regime due to bear invasions was introduced in six municipalities of the Siberian Federal District (SFO). TASS learned about this.

According to the agency, the most difficult situation arose in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. A day earlier, it was reported that 40 predators were eliminated there.

A special regime applies in Krasnoyarsk, Yenisei and Dzerzhinsko-Taseevsky municipal districts. In Krasnoyarsk, residents and guests of the city were advised not to visit remote parts of Tatyshev Island, where a bear was spotted.

In the Altai Republic, a regime is in effect in the Ongudai and Turochaksky districts after a bear dragged a tourist into the forest in August, who subsequently did not survive. 55 predators were destroyed in the region, and 157 licenses for their production were issued. A curfew was introduced in the Turochak district, and school hours were changed. The Altai Biosphere Reserve has closed tourist routes until the end of the season, and restrictions on visits to national parks have been introduced at night.

In the Altai Territory, restrictions apply to the Charysh district. In the Irkutsk region, the regime operates in Bratsk, where predators go to the outskirts and into dacha cooperatives.
