Efraim Filho proposes reopening 24-hour police stations and removing prisons from Mangabeira

The candidate for the government of Paraíba for the Liberal Party (PL), Efraim Filho, completed his campaign schedule this Tuesday (8). In the morning and also in the afternoon he recorded for the electoral guide. Between the recordings, he spoke about the proposal to reopen 24-hour police stations and also the removal of two prisons located in Mangabeira, in João Pessoa.

In an interview with TV Cabo Branco, candidate Efraim Filho said that public security is a central theme of his eventual government.

"One of our main proposals is the reopening of the 24-hour police stations and another measure that is also very symbolic, the removal of the prisons from Mangabeira, the city has grown in that direction, the city has embraced the prisons, it is not possible for the population of Mangabeira to live side by side with the factions, with organized crime", he said.

During the evening, still on Efraim Filho's agenda, the candidate was scheduled to participate in the Public Security Forum of the State of Paraíba, in João Pessoa.
