By-elections in Reggio Calabria-Locri: turnout at 3.43% at 12pm

Polling stations open, this morning at 7am, for the by-elections for the Chamber in the Reggio Calabria-Locri constituency. The consultation involves a total of 71 municipalities, mostly on the Ionian coast of Reggio Emilia, in addition to the capital, Locri, Siderno, Melito Porto Salvo and Villa San Giovanni and Scilla on the Tyrrhenian coast.

There are a total of 345,788 eligible beneficiaries, of which 58,729 reside abroad.

The polls will remain open until 11pm and will reopen tomorrow from 7am to 3pm.

The turnout recorded at 12pm was 3.43%. Four years ago, at the same time, it was 11.87% but on that occasion voting was only on Sunday and with three findings against the four in the two-day round like this time.
