The tournament, which aims to keep alive the valuable legacy left by Erdoğan Demirören in the business world and sports, brought golf enthusiasts together at Kemer Country Club. The organization, attended by important names from the business, sports and social worlds, witnessed exciting competitions for three days. In the tournament, 40 junior, 10 junior and 166 adult male and female golfers took to the field in different categories. In the organization that brought together athletes of all ages, the values of friendship, respect and sportsmanship came to the fore, as well as competition.
CHAMPIONSHIP AWARD FROM MINISTER BAK AND YILDIRIM DEMİRÖREN
After 3 days of struggles, an award ceremony was held in memory of the late Erdoğan Demirören. Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak also attended the ceremony, where Demirören Family, golfers participating in the tournament and guests were present. At the ceremony where Erdoğan Demirören was remembered with love, respect and mercy, awards were presented to the athletes who ranked in different categories. The champion of the tournament, Mehmet Kazan, received the championship award from the Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Demirören Holding and President of the Turkish Golf Federation Yıldırım Demirören. The athletes participating in the tournament were presented with keystones specially prepared in memory of Erdoğan Demirören by entrepreneur women from Mardin, symbolizing the permanent legacy he left.

Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, who started his speech by commemorating Erdoğan Demirören, said, "First of all, Mr. Erdoğan Demirören is truly one of the important names in Turkish sports. Especially in our childhood, we heard from many amateur club managers and administrators that Erdoğan Bey helped them; he provided many aid to the clubs, from equipment to cash aid. 'I AM VERY HAPPY TO DEFEAT TODAY'
Nihat Özdemir concluded his words as follows:
"I could not play very well today; I lost to Mr. Yıldırım Demirören today. I am also happy that I lost today. Because today is a very special day for him. If he had lost to me, he would have been much more sad, so now he is happy because he beat me. This way, I also taste an additional happiness."
Stating that they competed in a tournament that has become traditional, Serra Tokar said, "You know, a traditional tournament. This year it was in a bit cold weather, but it was an enjoyable game. I played with my grandson Erdoğan Demirören. He played very well. It was a nice field, we enjoyed it despite the weather conditions."
KORHAN KURDOĞLU: IT WAS A MEANINGFUL TOURNAMENT
Stating that it was a meaningful tournament, Korhan Kurdoğlu said, "It was a very meaningful and significant tournament. It went really well, it was enjoyable. Yıldırım President and I were in the same team. We played against Nihat Bey. They played well, but we played even better and won, we are happy."
