Interview about the Profession and Life of Kader Güzel, a Welder Woman in Erzurum Oltu

Kader Güzel, who started working as a welder with his older brother in Ankara when he was a child, became a master over the years. Kader Güzel, who practiced welding, which he learned at the age of 15, in Ankara for about 30 years, returned to his father's family, Erzurum's Oltu district, after separating from his wife. Kader Güzel, whom Oltu Mayor Adem Çelebi met in his hometown and wanted him to continue his welding profession at his father's house, met with Ahmet Mercan, who had a workplace in the organized industrial zone, and agreed. Kader Güzel, who started working at Mercan's workplace, quickly made the difference felt with her knowledge and experience.

Kader Güzel, who continues to work in Oltu after 30 years of professional life in Ankara, said, "Ahmet Mercan, whom I met upon the recommendation of our Oltu Mayor Adem Çelebi, opened his workplace for me. He supported me. Like every profession, welding has its difficulties, but every profession becomes easier once you do it with love."

I also love my job. I hope I can be an example for women in my country. I aim to be able to wear a gold bracelet on our daughters' wrists. I hope those who want to learn come.
