Active ETF listing anniversary scale reaches trillions of dollars! Uni-President Investment Trust accounts for nearly 60% and ranks first. (File photo)

Within a year, they have jumped from a new player in the market to a mainstream force in the capital market. According to the latest data from the Investment Trust and Investment Consultants Association as of May, the overall scale of active ETFs has jumped from 8.6 billion yuan in the initial stage to 902.2 billion yuan. In just one year, the scale has increased by more than 10,390%, and is gradually moving towards the trillion-dollar mark. Among them, Uni-President Investment Trust leads the market with a market share of 528.8 billion yuan and a market share of 59%. It has become Taiwan's benchmark issuer of active ETFs. Last month, Uni-President Upgraded 50 ETF (00403A) actively launched a buying frenzy on its first day of listing, setting a record for the highest single-day trading volume of a stock or ETF in the history of Taiwanese stocks.
According to information from the Investment Trust and Investment Consultants Association, as of the end of May, there were a total of 33 active ETFs on the market, covering 18 Taiwan stock-type ETFs, 8 multinational stock-type ETFs, and 7 multinational bond-type ETFs. Among them, the Taiwan stock market ranks first with a scale of 771.7 billion yuan, accounting for 85% of the total active ETF scale, showing that Taiwan stocks are still a key battlefield for active trading.

Last year, it began to issue the Active Unified Taiwan Stock Growth ETF (00981A), the Active Unified Global Innovation ETF (00988A) and the Active Unified Upgrade 50 ETF (00403A), providing investors with more diverse and flexible asset allocation tools. In addition, the unique "shareholding transparency mechanism" of active ETFs has greatly enhanced investors' trust in active ETFs. After the listing of the three products, they were highly recognized by the market and established Uni-President Investment's position in the field of active ETFs.
