European Curling Championships: silver in the Azzurri, beaten in the final by Scotland

Italy's curling silver medal at the European Championships in Ostrava. The Azzurri, who reached the final for the first time in the history of the discipline, succumbed to Scotland on the last shot of the final act of the continental tournament: the quartet formed by Stefano Spiller, Amos Mosaner, Sebastiano Arman and Cesare Spiller was overcome 6-5 by the British.

For Italian men's curling it is the best result ever at the European Championships: the silver achieved represents a step forward compared to the four bronzes achieved in 1979, 2018, 2021 and 2022.
