Recently, rumors circulated on the Internet that Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, was detained for allegedly having an extramarital affair and accepting a large amount of bribes. She did not appear at the Taiwan Affairs Office press conference for three consecutive weeks, which further fueled the rumors. However, the Chinese costume micro-short drama "Jiaqing Junyou Taiwan" held its premiere at the Communication University of China in Beijing on the 11th.
