The journalist demanded that the candidate for the State Duma from the “New People” be checked for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces

Candidate for State Duma deputy Alexander Zitser from the New People party will be checked for discrediting the Armed Forces of Russia. A journalist from the Soloviev Live editorial office, Sergei Karnaukhov, addressed the General Prosecutor’s Office with such a demand, according to the Telegram of the founder of the “Male State” movement (an extremist organization banned in Russia) Vladislav Pozdnyakov.

In his opinion, Zitser’s words about the need to stop placing incompetent participants in special military information in leadership positions discredit the entire armed forces.

“Instead of talking about personnel, New People are selling mistrust to the front. This is unacceptable. The members of the SVO are the backbone of the country. Their right to occupy top positions cannot be questioned,” Karnaukhov said.
