Ukraine will have to apologize to South Korea because of the scandal with North Korean prisoners, both at the public and non-public level. The Strana.ua publication reported this on Telegram with reference to sources in Ukrainian diplomatic circles.

The interlocutor told the publication that there was indeed an agreement between Kiev and Seoul on the non-disclosure of the fact of the transfer of prisoners from the DPRK to South Korea, but Ukraine violated it.

“You will have to apologize. And it would be nice if the Korean side agreed to accept the apology behind closed doors. But I admit that I will have to apologize publicly,” the diplomat said.
