The governor of the Smolensk region reported on the work of specialized windows of the MFC on issues of motherhood and childhood

MOSCOW, September 11 - RIA Novosti. Registration of measures to support families with children should be clear and accessible; this is one of our priorities, said Governor of the Smolensk Region Vasily Anokhin.

“Currently, in the Smolensk region there are 28 branches and 55 branches of the MFC, where more than 850 types of state and municipal services are available. Almost 97% of residents can receive them on the “one window” principle. In nine pilot branches of the MFC, we have opened special windows where residents can contact on issues of motherhood and childhood,” Anokhin wrote on the Max platform.

Branches operate in Vyazemsky, Gagarinsky, Desnogorsky, Safonovsky, Yartsevsky and Roslavl MFC, as well as in Zadneprovsky, Leninsky, Industrial MFC in the city of Smolensk. Since the end of July 2026, more than 3.5 thousand people have already contacted them.

Here, parents, guardians and expectant mothers can apply for child benefits and payments, manage maternity capital funds, and receive a tax deduction for their children’s education. In total, 54 services are available in specialized windows - 30 federal, 17 regional and seven municipal.

In addition to existing support measures that cover more than 86 thousand families with children, a new federal law on the annual family tax payment for working parents came into force on June 1.
