The National Day fireworks are set off on the north side of Beinan Creek on the outskirts of Taitung City. The Taitung County Government plans free shuttle buses and parking lots in the urban area and Taitung Railway Station. People can also watch the live broadcast online.
The Taitung County Government issued a press release today stating that the 115th National Day Fireworks will debut in Taitung on the 10th. This year’s event is themed “Ark of the World: South Island Taiwan”, combining South Island culture and mountain and sea landscapes. From 3 p.m. at the venue, Taitung Seaside Park National There are more than 60 "Food Truck Markets" gathered next to the international landmark, and the YOYO family and multiple local bands have a lively opening ceremony. At 7 o'clock in the evening, the National Day show presented by the Come True Fire Dance Troupe and the innocent singing of the Taitung County Children's Chorus lead everyone to wait for the fireworks.
The most anticipated National Day fireworks are accompanied by live symphony by the Youth Orchestra of the Taipei Symphony Orchestra. After the fireworks, the "South Island Party" event features relay singing by artists such as Shen Wencheng, Li Yinghong, Ye Ailing, and Jiu Yiyi. The entire fireworks event lasts from day to night.
The Taitung County Government stated that in response to the crowds of spectators, the county government has implemented controls on the space around international landmarks and important roads such as the China Bridge, and has planned free shuttle buses and parking lots. It also provides live broadcasts on multiple platforms such as TV and the Internet, calling on the public to cooperate with traffic guidance, or participate in the event through online live broadcasts, and enjoy a pleasant and bright night together.
The Taitung County Government stated that the National Day fireworks are a national-level celebration and strict security measures are implemented on site. A viewing area is set up around the international landmark and security personnel maintain order. Guests with certificates are restricted to enter through the security gate to ensure the smooth progress of the ceremony. After the fireworks are launched at 8:30 pm on the 10th, staff will remove the security facilities and allow the public to enter the main stage area to watch the "South Island Party" performance up close.
The Taitung County Government reminds the public that due to the limited number of parking spaces in the surrounding area, it is recommended that the public leave early or take the free shuttle bus to and from the venue at Taitung Railway Station and Taitung Transfer Station. The service hours are from 2 pm to 10:30 pm on the 10th. The departure frequency is approximately 20 minutes. Additional buses will be added based on the number of people.
For those who drive or ride bicycles, passenger cars can be parked on Linhai Road. (Section between Chenggong Road and Zhongzheng Road, 275 spaces); motorcycles can be parked at the bottom of Section 1 of Siwei Road (680 spaces) or next to Lane 51 of Section 1 of Linhai Road (520 spaces); along Mahengheng Avenue (section from Jingcheng Road to Zhonghua Road), the bicycle lane is open for parking motorcycles on one side, and the slow lane is for parking on one side for passenger cars. People are asked to follow the traffic control guidance and park in order.
The Taitung County Government stated that the Taitung City China Bridge will be closed from 6:30 to 9:00 on the evening of the 10th. People are asked to divert to Provincial Highway 11B; Linhai Road Section 51 The alley is planned as a disaster prevention passage from 9 a.m. on the 10th until the end of the event, and full control is implemented; the area around Pipa Lake in Taitung Forest Park (east of the China Bridge to the coast, north of the Green Water Bridge to the Living Water Lake) is prohibited from entering from 00:00 tomorrow (9) to 10 p.m.
The Taitung County Government stated that for people who are unable to attend the event in person, the county government has also planned multiple communication channels so that everyone can enjoy the wonderful performances and brilliant fireworks in real time. In terms of television broadcast, it can be watched through Sanli Metropolis Channel, Sanli News Channel, CTV News Channel and MOD Sanli Comprehensive Channel, and overseas viewers can focus on Sanli International Channel; in terms of online and social platforms, the entire event will be broadcast live online simultaneously by Sanli News Network SETN YouTube, CTV News YouTube, and Sanli News Facebook. The official Facebook fan page of County Magistrate Rao Qingling will also be broadcast simultaneously, inviting people across the country to celebrate the National Day online.
