The driver, who fell ill while driving in Tarsus district of Mersin, died.

According to the news in AA, the driver of the car, Murat Yıldız (53), fell ill for an unknown reason.

Upon the notice of those who stopped the vehicle and saw that Yıldız was in a difficult situation, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

Yıldız, who was taken to Tarsus State Hospital by ambulance after the first intervention of the medical staff, died. Yıldız's body was put in the morgue for autopsy.

Former Yaylacık Neighborhood Headman Mustafa Gedikli, who allegedly wanted to save his belongings in his shed against the risk of flood yesterday evening in Kullar location of Başiskele district of Kocaeli, was swept away by flood waters after the stream overflowed.
