Stating that Fenerbahçe has been accused of acting with the ambition of sporting competition by its rivals for many years, Mosturoğlu continued as follows:
"Our words, which we have been shouting in our speeches from this podium for years, 'A tragic theater is being played out before our eyes in Turkish football', have come true. As long as we said that reform was necessary, they accused us of acting with the ambition of sporting competition. Today, our rightness has been painfully registered. The fact that the President of the Central Referee Board (MHK) has been arrested within the scope of the investigation of the referees file means that the organized structure that we have been facing for years has been revealed by the judicial authorities. Merit has been forgotten, and winning matches is on the lips of the MHK President." "In a climate where there is no fair play, the referees, acting with the personal preferences of the detained MHK president, have determined the relegated players and the champions."
Explaining that the referees made statements regarding their internal affairs, but this was not enough, Mosturoğlu concluded his words as follows:
"We expect these referees to share all aspects of their experiences with the prosecutor's office. It can be seen how the refereeing institution has entered a spiral of favoritism and injustice, from amateur to Super League. No one can talk about fair play during the period when referees are arrested for match-fixing and encouragement. Our hope is that the crimes thought to have been committed within the scope of the effective investigation will be revealed in all aspects. We will be involved in this process as the legal processes develop. UEFA sent observers looking at the extraordinary developments in Turkish football. We are in a period. The resignation cries of our opponents for TFF or MHK are not for changing the unfair system, but for the radical change of this system. It is not possible for Turkish football to move forward with this order. Fenerbahçe's debt is 36 billion 384 million lira
Fenerbahçe Supervisory Board Chairman Mehmet Vodina announced the debt of the yellow-dark blue club.
Vodina announced that, according to the report covering the period between June 1, 2026 and August 31, 2026, the club's short-term liabilities are 22 billion 727 million liras, long-term liabilities are 13 billion 935 million liras, and the accumulated equity loss is 278 million liras.
