Fernando de Noronha has 67 people enrolled in Enem 2026

Fernando de Noronha has 67 candidates registered for the National High School Examination (Enem) 2026. The tests are held at Escola Arquipélago. As the island is one hour ahead of Brasília, the gates opened at 1pm and closed at 2pm, local time.

Educators from Noronha welcomed the candidates at the entrance to the school. They delivered kits with pens, water and chocolate. According to the educational unit's management assistant, Isabel Guedes, 40 of those registered are students from the island.

"Of the total number of registrants, 20 are completing their studies at Escola Arquipélago. Another 20 are students from different classes. Our expectations are the best possible. The students have dedicated themselves a lot and are prepared. We trust them", said Isabel.

João Pedro Barbosa Bariani is completing his studies at Escola Arquipélago and intends to study computer science.

"My expectations are good. I intend to go to college online, I believe it is possible because of the profession I want to pursue. This way, I will be able to continue living and working on the island", said João.

Taxi driver Saulo Sales accompanied his daughter, Sara, to the test location. She is looking for a place on the advertising course, which she intends to take on the continent.

"As a father, it's always difficult to separate from your children, but I know it's necessary. It makes my heart sink, but I'm sure everything will work out in the end," he said.

Sara Sales has already participated in Enem as a trainer in the previous two years. Now, she faces the test in earnest and is looking forward to the challenge.

"The most complicated thing will be managing time to answer all the questions and also do the writing. If I pass, I will leave Fernando de Noronha for four years, the period necessary to complete the advertising and advertising course. It will be necessary to go to the continent and live another reality", he said.

Matheus Luna will only complete his studies in 2027, but he decided to take the Enem to gain experience and prepare for the next editions.

"It's the first time I'm taking the exam. I'm participating to train. My dream is to study computer science at the University of Pernambuco (UPE). This year, I hope to get a good grade," he said.

Administrative assistant Ruth Melo da Silva already studied physiotherapy, but had to interrupt her studies to take care of her daughter. Now, she wants to return to the classroom and earn a diploma.

"I stopped studying because of motherhood, but I didn't give up. That's why I'm trying Enem once again. Studying is a way to have a better future", he stated.

Only one candidate was unable to take the test because he arrived at Escola Arquipélago without presenting an official document with a photo.

On the first day of Enem, candidates answer 90 questions on languages ​​and human sciences, in addition to writing the essay.

On the second day of tests, on November 15, students return to the application sites to answer 90 mathematics questions and another 90 natural sciences questions.
