The 27-year-old athlete from Manisa Akhisar, one of the prominent names of oil wrestling, has made a name for himself with the championships he has achieved in international mat wrestling and with his success in the CW Energy Türkiye Oil Wrestling League.
Aktürk, who reached the finals of the Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling, which is described as the "Olympic of oil wrestling" last year, could not reach the golden belt.
Feyzullah Aktürk, who has demonstrated successful wrestling in Kırkpınar in recent years, wants to feel the pride of winning the golden belt in the 666th Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling to be held next year.
The national wrestler won consecutive gold medals at the European Wrestling Championship in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Feyzullah Aktürk told the AA correspondent that he has been participating in Kırkpınar ambitiously for the last two years.
Stating that he came to Kırkpınar this year with great expectations, Aktürk said:
"For the last two years, I have understood very well that that field is the field of destiny. God will allow this to happen. I understood it thoroughly. I am a 27-year-old athlete. I made my first final in Kırkpınar. I became a chief wrestler at the age of 22, but frankly, I have been adapting to being a chief wrestler for three years. In the meantime, I had the chance to take part in the national team. I became a European champion three times. I was away from being a chief wrestler, but I competed well in Kırkpınar for three years. "I do."
Aktürk stated that he went to the 665th Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling to win the golden belt, but this was not possible.
Expressing that he felt bitterness about not being able to reach the golden belt, Aktürk said:
"I promise this to my fans, I will fight until the end to get that belt. This year, we went to the private field with the feeling that I was going to get it. We called all my fans. People of Çanakkale, people of Balıkesir, people of Manisa. They love me very much in these provinces, I am aware of it. The people of Edirne also love us very much. When we enter the prayerful meadow at Kırkpınar Er Square, their applause and the attention and love they show us motivates us. How happy we are, we have spectators who love us behind us. Of course, there will be those who criticize us. Sometimes I get criticized for my wrestling style. They are also my crown, I take the criticism into consideration.
