WHO IS ZORAN TERZİĆ?

Zoran Terzić was born on July 9, 1966 in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Terzić, who started volleyball in the Crvena Zvezda infrastructure, played in different age categories of the club between 1979 and 1986. Later, he left his acting career and turned to education and coaching. He graduated from the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Belgrade in 1998.

COACHING CAREER OF ZORAN TERZİĆ

Terzić started his coaching career as an assistant coach at IMT Belgrade. Terzić, who played for Crvena Zvezda's youth team in 1996, became the head of the club's women's team in 1998. In 2002, he served as head coach of Serbia's women's national team.

Under Terzić's management, Serbia won the bronze medal at the 2006 World Championship and the gold medal at the 2018 World Championship. The team also won silver at the Rio 2016 Olympics and bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He won the European Championship in 2011, 2017 and 2019.

After parting ways with the Serbian National Team in 2022, Terzić coached the Russian Women's National Team. At the end of 2024, he was appointed head of Serbia again.

In addition to the Serbian National Team, Zoran Terzić has coached various women's volleyball teams in Serbia, Romania, Italy, Russia, Switzerland and Türkiye throughout his career.
