One of the passengers said that after the attacking pilot was pinned down, the plane began to descend sharply.

A FlyDubai plane flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv signaled an emergency and made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.

TEL AVIV, September 30 - RIA Novosti. Passengers on the Flydubai plane that sounded the alarm accidentally saw that the pilot of the airliner had stabbed a colleague; the door to the cabin was slightly open, flight passenger Nathan told RIA Novosti.

“It started with the fact that the girl wanted to go to the toilet and asked her mother to take her. When they passed by the cockpit, they saw that the door to the cockpit was open - this is prohibited. They looked inside and saw that there was no one at the controls, and started screaming,” said a passenger who arrived at Ben Gurion Airport.

According to him, the screams were heard by a guy sitting nearby, who, together with another passenger, broke down the door - it was “ajar.”

“They ran into the cockpit and saw that one pilot had stabbed the other one right in the back of the neck. They pinned down the attacking pilot, and the other pilot lost consciousness, after which the plane began to descend sharply,” Nathan said.
