The Siará Tech Summit reaches its 5th edition, while ConheCER holds its 9th edition, the first time being hosted in Ceará.
Fortaleza hosts, between the 7th and 9th of October, two of the main events promoted by the Sebrae System focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and education. The Siará Tech Summit (STS) and ConheCER – International Entrepreneurial Education Seminar take place simultaneously in the capital of Ceará and should bring together entrepreneurs, educators, researchers, students, investors and public managers from different regions of the country.
Holding the meetings in the same week brings together a broad program in Ceará dedicated to discussing topics related to digital transformation, entrepreneurial education, territorial development and new business models. Together, the events should attract tens of thousands of participants and promote debates, training, connections and business opportunities.
For the technical advisor to the executive board of Sebrae Ceará, Carlos Viana, the coincidence of the agendas highlights the relationship between education, innovation and economic development.
"Sebrae believes that innovation begins with people. Therefore, we see entrepreneurial education, technology, knowledge and business as elements of the same development journey. Hosting ConheCER and the Siará Tech Summit simultaneously reinforces the relevance of this agenda and brings together different audiences that help to build solutions to the challenges of the territories", he states.
Siará Tech Summit
Considered one of the biggest innovation and business events in the Northeast, the Siará Tech Summit reaches its 5th edition with the expectation of receiving 50 thousand participants and bringing together 300 exhibiting startups. Promoted by Sebrae Ceará, the event will be held at the Ceará Events Center and will feature representatives from companies, universities, research institutions, investors, startups and public bodies.
The program will cover topics such as artificial intelligence, internationalization, deep tech, smart cities, government innovation, education, inclusion and digital transformation. Over three days, participants will have access to lectures, panels, mentoring, business rounds, startup presentations and immersive experiences.
In the previous edition, the meeting held more than 90 business rounds and recorded R$27 million in investment intentions, consolidating itself as one of the main environments for connecting entrepreneurs, investors and companies in the state's innovation ecosystem.
ConheCER arrives in Ceará for the first time
Held by Sebrae Ceará, Sebrae Nacional and CER – Sebrae Entrepreneurial Education Hub, ConheCER will be promoted on the 8th and 9th of October, at Buffet La Maison. In its ninth edition, the seminar's theme is "Entrepreneurial Education: Territories in Learning" and is expected to bring together around 1,300 in-person participants and another 400 online.
For the first time in Ceará, the event will bring together experts, educators, researchers and public managers to discuss the role of entrepreneurial education in training students and building solutions to social and economic challenges.
The program includes lectures, panels, workshops, presentation of educational experiences and sharing of practices developed in different regions of the country. The objective is to expand the debate on how schools, universities, communities and governments can contribute to the development of territories through education.
The choice of Fortaleza as the venue for the event also occurs in a context of national recognition of the advances made by Ceará in the educational area, especially in indicators related to learning and public education management.
Complementary themes
Although aimed at different audiences, the two events address topics that interact with each other. While ConheCER focuses discussions on people training and the role of entrepreneurial education, the Siará Tech Summit brings together initiatives focused on innovation, business creation, digital transformation and company competitiveness.
In addition to the technical programming, the events should move sectors such as hotels, transport, food and services, increasing the flow of visitors to the capital of Ceará.
