Galatasaray's Metin Öztürk resigned: 'I cannot accept the action that turned into an actual attack'

Galatasaray Club Vice President Metin Öztürk announced that he resigned from the board of directors and affiliated companies.

In his statement, Metin Öztürk reacted to the events at the board of directors meeting held on October 27 and announced his decision to resign.

Öztürk used the following statements in his post on his social media account:

"Neither my Galatasaray upbringing nor the upbringing I received from my mother and father would allow me to accept the action that took place at our Board of Directors meeting on October 27, which turned into an actual attack and an insult to my dead mother.

As of today, I am resigning from my membership in the Board of Directors of Galatasaray and affiliated companies.
