Giorgetti at the Teha Forum: economic growth beyond forecasts and appeal on wages

"We had made prudent assessments for growth indicating 0.6%, for now we have achieved 0.8%. If things go as per the indicators we could get closer to 1%, above the forecasts contained in the programmatic documents". This was said by the Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti, speaking at the Teha Forum in Cernobbio.

"On the issue of wages, there cannot only be the government, which can do its part in terms of tax and contribution incentives, but there must also be entrepreneurs, who must see wages as one of the first forms of investment to restart the cycle", he added.
