Glesbygdboenden by highway 62 feel forgotten in politics

One hour to hospital and dentist. Six miles to the children's soccer practice. The conditions in sparsely populated areas do not scare the residents of highway 62.

When it comes to the election, however, they feel completely forgotten.

The tours around National Highway 62

The area around Klarälven and national road 62 in northern Värmland is protected according to the EU's Natura 2000 regulations. At the same time, the Swedish Transport Administration has applied to build erosion protection at seven places along the national highway to protect against landslides that could occur at any time, for example during heavy rainfall.

The application has been rejected by the Land and Environment Court because the court considers that the overall environmental effects have not been sufficiently investigated.

The legal process must now be restarted from the beginning.
