Oasis will arrive in concert in Rome: it's official.

On Sunday 13 September, the Olympic Stadium was the backdrop to a luminous choreography: dozens of drones recomposed the famous black and white logo of the Manchester band in the air. The operation was similar to the one that took place a few hours earlier above the Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City, ideally uniting the Gallaghers' city of origin to the capital.

For a few minutes the Roman sky was transformed into a screen, a message addressed directly to the Italian fans.

The relaunch of the Onorato councillor

Giving institutional weight to the initiative was Alessandro Onorato, Capitoline councilor for Major Events, who filmed the video on his social channels commenting: "The Oasis in Rome". His interest is anything but improvised: for over two years the administration has been working to bring Liam and Noel Gallagher back to the city. Liam himself, asked by a fan during a stay in Rome in spring 2026, responded to the possibility of a concert in 2027: "Without doubts".

The dates and the official announcement

The definitive calendar of the world tour is set for today, Monday 14 September, at 5pm Italian time. The rumors from the British press and fan clubs, however, have been converging for days on the same coordinates: two consecutive evenings at the Olympic Stadium, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 July 2027. If confirmed, they would mark the return of Oasis to Italy almost twenty years after their last performance, dated 2009. Rome is thus part of a European journey that also touches Paris and Munich, after the planned departure from Glasgow, adding a name of (enormous) weight to a Capitoline season which Onorato himself has already enriched by announcing Harry Styles for August 2027.

Tickets: prices, times and precautions

On the ticket front, anticipation still reigns. Prices, sectors and sales channels will be communicated together with the official calendar: some sources hypothesize an opening of sales already in the days immediately following the announcement, perhaps around Saturday 19 September, but there is no confirmation. To get an idea of ​​the orders of magnitude you can look at the 2025 tour, when the cheapest tickets started from 86.50 euros and the most complete premium packages were close to 600 euros: purely indicative figures, which do not anticipate the Roman price list. With around 120 thousand seats overall on the two dates and potentially enormous demand, the race for tickets promises to be tight.
