Former Google engineer Soares spoke about the risks of artificial intelligence

Nate Soares evaluated artificial intelligence in the podcast broadcast hosted by Nicholas Thompson, Chief Executive of The Atlantic magazine.

Stating that he thinks there is a 50 percent chance that humans will not exist in 10 years due to the effects of artificial intelligence, Soares said, "I am not saving for retirement." he said.

Soares stated that he has retirement savings from the time he worked at Google, but he has not added anything to it for about 10 years.

Discussions about slowing down artificial intelligence

Trump claimed that "a sick conspiracy is being carried out" to get artificial intelligence technology out of control, and also argued that slowing down the work in this field would give China an advantage.
