One person died after being shot with a gun in the wooded area near Halide Edip Street.

The incident took place around 18:00 in the wooded area near Halide Edip Street. A person entering the wooded area saw the person lying motionless on the ground and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notice, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

During the check carried out by the teams, it was determined that the person who was shot with a gun died. Upon examination, it was determined that the deceased was Cemal Bayraktar.

While police teams took security measures in the area, crime scene investigation teams also worked in the area. A gun was found next to Bayraktar.

RELATIVES DROWN IN TEARS

Police teams sought information from the person who found Bayraktar. This person told the police how he entered the wooded area and found Bayraktar. Bayraktar's relatives, who received the news and came to the scene, were greatly saddened. His brother came to the scene and cried, saying 'My brother'.

The father, who wanted to cross the security line and go to the area where his son was, was calmed down by police teams. Bayraktar's mother fell ill at the scene. Upon notification, medical teams intervened in the mother.
