Firma Jeronimo Martins zdecydowała się usunąć z półek m.in. sztuczne noże i makabryczne kostiumy.

Dzień wcześniej w Zespole Szkół Zawodowych nr 4 w Ostrołęce 19-latek zaatakował nożem dziewięć osób, w tym pięcioro uczniów i dwoje nauczycieli. Miał również plecak z materiałem wybuchowym domowej roboty.

Policjanci udaremnili też prawdopodobny atak w szkole w Sierpcu.

Open Questions

  • Czy inne sieci handlowe podejmą podobne kroki?
  • Jakie będą długofalowe skutki zwiększonego monitoringu szkół?

Additional verification for large purchases. New regulations from mid-2027.

From July 2027, the AMLR regulation will enter into force in the EU, introducing uniform rules on counteracting money laundering. Entrepreneurs will be obliged to carefully verify the identity of customers for transactions over PLN 10,000. euro (approx. PLN 43,000), regardless of the form of payment. In practice, this means the need to provide data such as PESEL, NIP or IBAN. The regulations will cover not only banks, but also car dealers, real estate agents, art galleries, auction houses, sports clubs, lawyers, lending companies, crowdfunding platforms and crypto-asset service providers. In the case of cash transactions, simplified verification may be required from PLN 3,000. euro. The aim is to reduce differences between national rules and increase the security of financial transactions across the Union.
