At the same time, Yemen’s Houthi armed forces captured the Red Sea port city of Mucha and Hanish Islands. Affected by this, international oil prices rose sharply, with Brent crude oil closing at US$107.63, and US gasoline prices exceeded US$6 per gallon for the first time. Analysts warn that if the Bab el-Mandeb Strait is blocked, global energy supply will be further impacted.

He called for the resumption of negotiations, the abandonment of force, and respect for Iran's right to peaceful use of nuclear energy. He also emphasized that China will continue to make efforts for a political settlement of the Iranian nuclear issue.
