Man arrested after trying to jump railing and throw backpack near STF

According to preliminary information, the man tried to jump over the fence and was stopped.

According to preliminary information from the Military Police, the man threw his backpack at a bus stop located next to the STF, on S1.

After identifying the backpack at a nearby point, the area began to be monitored and the man was detained. He is 28 years old.

Until the last update of this report, the arrival of the bomb squad was expected to assess the contents of the backpack and adopt the necessary security procedures.

The perimeter was isolated and remains under team control. There was no information about what was inside the object or the circumstances that led to the suspect's arrest.
