School Security Statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi made the following statements in his statement on his social media account:

We are on the field for our children. We have taken our measures to the highest level so that our children can go to school safely and return to their homes in peace: Our Police and Gendarmerie teams are on the field for our children! We establish a safer education environment with instant inspections.

We have completed our planning for 31 thousand school garden staff in 81 provinces. We supplied 2 thousand 804 hand detectors to be used in our priority schools. We evaluate our schools according to their risk situations; We assign our school law enforcement officers, safe education coordination officers and patrol teams sensitively according to need.

During the academic year, we will carry out "School Environment and Service Vehicles Inspection Practice for the Protection of Children and Young People" throughout the country. We are determinedly on the field on every issue that may threaten our children, from the fight against drugs to traffic and cyber security.

Our aim is very clear; Let our children receive education safely, and our parents should not be left behind.
