隨著端午節將至，不少民眾規劃返鄉團聚或出國旅遊，移民署提醒，返國入境時也為防疫多留一份心，行李中切勿攜帶來自疫區的豬肉及其製品入境，勿因疏忽而違反規定，遭受最高新臺幣100萬元的處罰。
據統計，過去一年自發生非洲豬瘟國家（地區）入境且違規攜帶豬肉製品共542人，皆遭受新臺幣20萬元罰款，其中有144名外籍旅客因未能繳納高額罰款而無法入境。
