The owner of a restaurant in Trani was attacked just before six in the morning today, while he was in Piazza della Repubblica.

A group of people who have not yet been identified violently beat him.

The victim, who is just over 50 years old, was rescued and transported to the Bonomo hospital in Andria, where he is hospitalized in a medically induced coma.

The investigations by the Carabinieri, coordinated by the Trani Prosecutor's Office, will have to ascertain the dynamics and motive of the attack.
