Fire hits house in the Jurunas neighborhood, in Belém

Videos recorded by witnesses show the intensity of the flames and the large amount of dark smoke coming from the second floor of the residence.

The occupants of the property began to leave the place through the main gate, while trying to save some personal belongings with the help of neighbors.

Before the arrival of rescue teams, residents mobilized to try to control the fire. Using buckets and household hoses, the group managed to prevent the flames from spreading to neighboring houses.

A team from the Military Fire Department was called and was on site to ensure control of the fires. The causes of the incident are still unknown. An expert report must be drawn up to identify what started the fire.
