INSS warns of scams with false registrations in public competitions; understand

According to the institute, candidates have sent messages requesting a refund of amounts paid for supposed registrations, although there is no open registration period.

The INSS also informed that there is no authorization to hold a new public competition. The organization reinforces that it does not receive applications nor does it charge registration or admission exam fees.

Any questions regarding registrations and requests for refunds must be addressed directly with the organizing committee responsible for the notice.

The last application period for the position of Social Security Analyst, which requires higher education, took place in July 2025.

Registrations for Social Security Technician, at medium level, were made in 2023, for the competition whose notice had been published at the end of 2022.

In reports sent to the institute by email, candidates stated that they had registered through the Gov.br platform. Some would also have received information about supposed places where the tests would be administered.

The INSS recommends that candidates consult information about competitions exclusively on official government channels, such as the INSS portal and the agency's official pages on social media.
