Harsh warning from Iran to the USA and Israel: 'unlimited response' instruction from Khamenei

Iran's religious leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, in his meeting with senior military officials on Saturday, asked for the army's preparedness level to be increased against the possibility of new attacks against his country.

According to the statement published by Iran's semi-official news agency Nour News, Khamenei stated that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) should be in a position to respond to possible threats that are not limited by geographical borders.

Khamenei said that in case of a new military attack by Iran, the Tehran administration will determine the timing and scope of the response.

"If the enemies launch military or terrorist attacks once again, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic and the people of Iran will determine when and under what conditions they will end," he said in his statement.

Khamenei emphasized that the army should be ready to take action against all kinds of threats quickly, effectively and independently of geographical limitations.

NEW INSTRUCTIONS FOR USA AND ISRAEL TARGETS

The Iranian leader also instructed the Revolutionary Guard Corps to update the current target list.

Khamenei demanded that a military plan be made to ensure that all material and intangible assets belonging to the USA and Israel are within the reach of the Iranian Armed Forces.

The statement in question stood out as a warning that Iran's response to a possible attack may not be limited to its own territory.

Pointing out the importance of maximum deterrence in Iran's defense strategy, Khamenei stated that the armed forces should be prepared for possible conflicts.

Khamenei described "intelligent combat preparation for a strong confrontation with enemies" as one of the basic conditions for maximum deterrence.

Arguing that threats of all levels and types should be responded to without delay, Khamenei stated that Iran will not restrict its right to respond in possible new conflicts by geographical borders.

US-IRAN TENSION CONTINUES

Khamenei's statements came at a time when new diplomatic contacts between Washington and Tehran were on the agenda and military tension in the region continued.

The Iranian administration warns that it may give a more comprehensive military response if the USA and Israel carry out new attacks.

Khamenei's latest instruction is considered as part of Iran's policy of increasing its military deterrence and expanding its response options against possible attacks.
