'War' from Iran! 'We took very good precautions'

According to Iranian state television, Jahanshahi spoke about the ongoing tension between Iran and the USA.

'WE TAKEN VERY GOOD PRECAUTIONS'

Stating that they took "very good precautions" based on the lessons they learned from the war in June 2025, Cihanşahi stated that they reviewed the operational plans, took comprehensive precautions and created channels, tunnels and defensive trenches.

Stating that they ensured the operational readiness of the land forces before the attacks launched by the USA in February 2026, Cihanşahi stated that as soon as the war started, more than 50 combat and support units, including mobile, intervention, armored and mechanized brigades, as well as artillery, missile and unmanned aerial vehicle units, were deployed to the borders of the country.

'THE ENEMY DID NOT DARE TO ENTER THE COUNTRY BORDER'

Stating that the troops in question were deployed in the northwest, west, southwest, east and southeast of the country, Cihanşahi noted that a large amount of ammunition and equipment was transported using heavy military vehicles during this period.

"These measures played a role in creating deterrence and prevented the enemy from daring to enter the country's borders," said Cihanşahi, adding that these troops still continue to serve at the border against a possible situation.
