Iranian Religious Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Is Not Seen, He Is Allegedly Hiding In A Cave After The Attack

Iranian religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei has not made an appearance since he was targeted in US-Israeli attacks. Member of the Iranian Assembly of Experts, Ayatollah Muhsin Heydari, said that the hospital where Khamenei was taken after being injured at the beginning of the war was bombed and he was removed from the rubble.

Speaking to Al Arabia channel, Haydari stated that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the attack on the office of Iran's former religious leader Ali Khamenei and was hospitalized. He stated that during this period, the USA and Israel bombed three hospitals where he could be found, and that Khamenei was removed from the rubble of the third bombed hospital.

Stating that they later learned that Khamenei was in good health and confirmed his capacity to rule the country, Muhsin Haydari said, "We, as the Assembly of Experts, elected him as the leader of the revolution, without consulting with any institution or organization." he said.

ITS LOCATION IS KEPT LIKE A SECRET

Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the attack of the United States and Israel on February 28. Mojtaba Khamenei, who was elected religious leader instead of his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who died in the same attack, has not made any appearances since the attack. It is claimed that Khamenei does not share video or voice messages due to security measures.

According to officials, the number of people who can meet with Khamenei face to face is extremely limited. The main reason why details about the leader's location and situation are kept secret is the concern that the USA or Israel will launch a new attack.

Khamenei probably lives in a cave or bunker in the deepest reaches of Tehran. He uses paper for communication. The messages he writes on small pieces of paper are carried by couriers who do not know what they are carrying, changing hands many times.

Even before the war, Khamenei, as one of his father's most important aides, preferred to stay behind the scenes and not appear in front of the public much.
