Iranian Foreign Ministry: The latest offer from the USA is almost the same as the previous offers

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Bekayi made statements regarding the agenda at the weekly press conference he held in the capital Tehran.

Stating that the latest offer offered by the USA to Iran is almost the same as the previous offers and that they brought nuclear issues to the agenda, Bekayi said, "Additional issues regarding the USA's offer will be conveyed to the other party." he said.

Pointing out that Tehran's focus is the Strait of Hormuz, Bekayi said:

"On the way back, we conveyed this to the mediators in Qatar. We stated that our focus at this stage is the Strait of Hormuz issue. Ensuring security in the Strait of Hormuz depends on the US taking some concrete steps, such as stopping the intervention in Iran's maritime transport and lifting sanctions. Additional issues regarding the US offer will be conveyed to the other party. Iran has never turned its back on diplomacy."

Bekayi said that he would give his answers in a different way if the lands of neighboring countries were used in a possible attack on Iran in the future, adding: "We are determined to continue the dialogue with the Gulf countries. However, they must give up anti-Iran rhetoric and territorial claims. The sovereignty claim of the United Arab Emirates regarding the islands belonging to Iran is unacceptable." he said.

Pointing to the ambassador crisis with Lebanon, Bekayi said, "Despite the rumors, Iran's Ambassador to Beirut received an agreement. Iran resolves diplomatic misunderstandings with Beirut through dialogue." he said.

Referring to the fact that his country has good relations with China and Russia and that these relations are reflected in various platforms and international organizations, Bekayi said that they will act in harmony with both countries on various issues when necessary.

Referring to the developments in Yemen, Bekayi said, "I hope that the allegations that Pakistan sent 40 thousand soldiers to Saudi Arabia are not true." he said.

Regarding the civil airline transportation restrictions imposed by the USA on his country, Bekayi said, "The ban on international flights is against international law. The issue has been resolved with Iraq. We are also negotiating with other countries to resolve the issue." he said.
