Israeli forces carried out house demolitions in the West Bank and detained 7 people

According to the information given to the AA correspondent by eyewitnesses in the region, a military unit affiliated with the Israeli army raided the Teavun Ulvi region of the city of Nablus in the north of the West Bank.

Israeli forces destroyed the house of Palestinian Omer Saad, built in "Area C".

Saad, who received notification that his house would be demolished on Friday, said that his house had 3 floors, 3 families lived on each floor and a total of 10 people lived in the building.

Saad said, "Even if they demolish my house, I will pitch a tent on the rubble and live there."

On the other hand, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli forces destroyed two four-storey buildings belonging to Palestinians with bulldozers in the Ayn al-Saky town of Birzeit town, located north of Ramallah.

7 Palestinians detained

It was reported that Israeli forces detained a total of 7 Palestinians simultaneously with the demolitions in the areas they raided.

In the statement made by the Jerusalem Governorship of the Palestinian administration, it was stated that during the raids in question, Israeli forces stopped the traffic flow by setting up barricades on the roads and used tear gas bombs against the Palestinians during the destruction and detentions.
